From October 23 to November 3, 2023, 29 international students from the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) together with 22 students from Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) participated in a short-term course on "Industrialized Building Process" in 2023.
Participating in the course, UCN and TDTU students acquired knowledge and practical experience in fields such as construction project management methods in the digital era to meet strict requirements for safety, project progress and flexibility in project implementation, planning skills, teamwork skills, project management skills, etc. Besides, field trips and Vietnamese cultural exchange activities such as tours to experience the Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnels and Ho Chi Minh City tours for enjoying local cuisine and specialties and many other exchange activities. At the end of the course, students were awarded participation certificates in the Industrialized Building Process by TDTU.
At the closing session, the UCN lecturer representative expressed deep gratitude to TDTU for creating the best conditions for them. After 2 weeks of studying and experiencing, UCN students evaluated TDTU as a modern and friendly educational environment. During the two-week course, TDTU students had the opportunity to interact with friends from many countries around the world to increase their confidence and ability to use foreign languages, serving TDTU’s goal of internationalization.
Over the years, TDTU has become a focal point for international cooperation, education and research through an increase in international student exchange activities and cultural exchanges that take place continuously and periodically. Short-term courses for international students at TDTU contribute to promoting and strengthening cooperative activities between the University and international partners, attracting international lecturers and students to study and exchange at the University. This is an opportunity for lecturers and students of the University to connect with friends from many countries around the world.
