SHORT COURSES
Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) offers a variety of short course programs and trainings to meet the educational needs of the society.
Courses and trainings are delivered directly by TDTU’s scientific and technological centers. Here are some centers of TDTU that have short-term training programs that are regularly organized to serve the needs of learners:
Center of Physical Education and Defense Education (DSEC) offers trainings in certified compulsory national defense education at the request of the Ministry of Education and Training for: the TDTU students, other college and university students according to the Department of Defense Education and Ministry of Education and Training as well as for the orders of other higher education institutions.
Social Development Training Center (SDTC): offers practical courses related to social issues: Event management and organization, Human resource specialists, Brokerage specialists, Real estate management, Media and marketing, Resume writing and job interview skills, pedagogic skills, graphic designs, etc.
Center for Enterprises Cooperation and Alumni (CECA): offers the training in science and technology; carries out support programs, ordering consultancy, financing and training at the request of enterprises to continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning; ensures the working capacity and learning efficiency for learners; as well as supports business development.
Creative Language Center (CLC): offers courses in Management and leadership development, Career development, Professional skills training, CLC tailor-made training, Language for teaching, English teaching assistant, English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese language programs, etc.
Center of Applied Information Technology (CAIT): offers following courses and trainings: National Computer Office Certificate, Microsoft office specialists (MOS), Applied programming, Web designs, and Contracts and Services for designing personal application software in all aspects of life, society and economy, etc.
Vietnamese Studies and Language Center (VSLC): offers courses in Vietnamese language and culture for foreigners, culture exchange programs, training and holding examinations for Vietnamese proficiency certificates for foreigners, organizing international cooperation programs, seminars in teaching Vietnamese language and culture. In addition, VSLC offers Vietnamese language programs for oversea students taking up Vietnamese courses at TDTU.
Applied and Developed Industrial Fine Arts Center (ADA): offers services in the field of design, applied and developed fine arts, courses in professional development, specialized software training, hand drawing skills for students and other potential learners in the society ...
Korean Experts Center (KEC): organizes international conferences, scientific seminars with the participation of TDTU lecturers, Korean and international experts; carries out scientific and technological projects with funding from both sides; coordinates the Korean enterprises to transfer the research results of TDTU and Korea to Korean enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces; seeks scholarships for master's and doctoral degrees awarded by prestigious Korean universities to TDTU applicants; invites Korean professors and experts to deliver lectures part-time and full-time; organizes internships at Korean enterprises in Vietnam and abroad.
European Cooperation Center (ECC): links and organizes bilateral cooperation for TDTU to carry out part-time doctoral programs signed and sealed by both TDTU and other European universities; organizes international seminars, cooperates in scientific and technological research; collaborates in training programs; offers study-abroad information and undergraduate scholarship; investment consultancy and transfer to enterprises in Binh Thuan, Gia Lai, Lam Dong provinces, strategic and comprehensive partnership with TDTU.
Center for Occupational Safety and Environmental Technology (COSENT): offers trainings and fosters short-term courses in the field of environmental protection and labor safety; conducts research, consultancy, appraisal and application of technologies and techniques in the fields of natural resource management, water supply and drainage technology, water treatment technology, waste treatment technology; handles labor environment, occupational safety and health techniques, labor safety equipment; personal protective equipment, environmental protection products and equipment; environmental management and labor safety, etc.
